Humans don’t like being disrespected, so why do we feel like it is okay to treat animals badly? Animals are being chained up outside and left in the hot heat to die and starve to death when in reality, they just want to be loved and cared for. People should be getting the same punishment for murder on humans as they do for murder and abandonment on animals.
Investigators have shown that it is more likely to happen in hoarding situations than any other circumstances. The most popular animal that is targeted for animal abuse are puppies and kittens. According to the Humane Society, 70 percent are dogs/puppies and 20 percent are cats/kittens.
