From the ancient times, women were always discriminated. Having a girl child wasn't desired. We have come a long way from those times. Women realized about their deprived rights and fought to win them. We are quite successful in that. Comparing the scenarios of 20 years ago and now, we will find that the number of working women have increased
Women Empowerment is where women are given all thier previously denied rights. They are allowed to work,vote etc. This is very important as women are humans too. They too deserve equal rights as that of women.
Now, many women are misusing this concept. 'Woman' is used as a label to get different things. This is wrong. This is not women empowerment. This is plain wrong. As an woman, I believe in equality. Both man and woman are creation god and deserve to be on the same plane
