Water is life! If there were no water, there would be no life! Do you know all life forms of all species of flora and fauna are able to live because of water? 80% of human body mass is made up of water; it is the only transportation medium that carries the food molecules and oxygen to the cells of every body parts to help the blood. It signifies that water is the most essential ingredient to the functioning of life processes of every organism. So you see living this wonderful life is impossible without water!
Water is the force behind all the industry, agriculture, manufacturing and trade and commerce. All forms of energy generation is done using water. Be it hydroelectrically projects, or thermal power plant, or nuclear power plant, water is the key ingredient in all of them. There would be no power without water! The gist of all the points mentioned above is WATER IS INDISPENSABLE for life. No water, no life!
So it is our responsibility to conserve this life nectar. It is possible only through by changing our outlook towards this wonderful natural resource. We must ensure there is no pollution of water bodies by dumping any waste such as, sewage, effluents, and other toxic substances. The people and the government must ensure installation of effluents and smoke treatment plants at industrial, garbage, and sewage units. A healthy forest cover should be built across and around the cities.
Water is regarded the most necessary object that helps in existence of each and every life on this planet. Although, three-fourth of this Earth is water, we must not forget that only 1.5% of which is good for drinking. Anyhow, in today's world, we are aware of the fact that the water-level is decreasing frequently. This is the impact of overpopulation, pollution, and misutilization of resources. So, everyone should start water conservation- even at the tiniest level. There are multiple techniques, practices, and ideas that would help you to save water and increase the chances of preserving this precious source. They are mentioned below:
1. One should start rain-water harvesting. Every family-house can do this set-up which would help prevent misuse of water.
2. Scholars can draw people's attention by starting water-preservation campaigns and surveys.
3. Checking on leakages, open taps and flushes are a few practices that would help each individual save water.
4. People must form a strict mentality in regards to pollution and its effects. Only speaking about pollution won't work until one adopts it as a habit, in his/her actions.
5. People must start reusing waste water in any other task suitable and healthy for nature. For example, I can reuse the water left after dishwashing by utilizing it into my washroom flushes.
