India has a considerable proportion of tribal population. the tribal communities are the tribes list in the Indian Constitution are cal schedule tribes they are also referred to as adivasis they are offering group together with the schedule caste is under the category schedule caste and Scheduled Tribes according to the Census of India 2011 the scheduled tribes from 8.6 % of India's population most of the tribal population live in the Northern Eastern states in Jharkhand West Bengal ,Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh ,Rajasthan ,Gujarat Maharashtra ,Telangana ,and Andhra Pradesh some tribal groups in India are:

1.The Gonds of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Telangana.

2.The Bhils of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

3.The Santhals of Jharkhand Odisha and West Bengal.
