The human brain is located in the cranium in the hard nd bony skull. The brain is surrounded by three menings,an outer, middle and inner.The fine,spongy spaces between these meaning are filled with cerebrospinal fluid that acts as a cushion and protects the brain from any mechanical shock.
The weight of brain in adult man is about 1350 grams.
The nervous tissue of the brain is formed of two types of matter. The outer cortical part of the brain is formed of grey matter while the inner. deeper part is formed of white matter.
Forbrain , Midbrain and Hindbrain are the different parts of the human brain.
