Coconuts are majority grown in thecoastal plains. The peninsular plateau is flanked by a long stretch of narrow coastal strips called ascoastal plain. The western coast is sandwiched between the peninsular plateau and the Arabian sea. And the eastern coast that is along the bay of Bengal is wide and level.
