➡️Malaria caused by bite of female mosquitoes.✔️

Symptoms:

➡️The symptoms of malaria can occur between a week and month after exposure to the parasites which cause malaria. ✔️

➡️The general attack of malaria usually continues 6-10 hours. There are three stages and these symptoms return approximately every 2 days.✔️

➡️The cold stage (shivering, feeling cold for 1-2 hours)✔️
➡️The hot stage (vomiting, headache and fever up to 107°F for 3-4 hours)✔️
➡️The sweating stage or wet stage (sweating for 2-4 hours and sleepiness)✔️

➡️Many malaria parasites are resistant to drugs, and the patients can also develop persistent long-term infections which never resolve and malaria attacks the patients periodically. Antimalarial drugs may help the patients to get recovery from the disease or the symptoms may be suppressed, appearing even later.✔️

Malaria Prevention:

➡️There is an ABCD (Awareness, Bite, Check and Diagnosis) approach to prevent Malaria:✔️

• Awareness of risk : Know the risk of the disease and maintain hygiene habits.

• Bite: Avoid mosquito bites by using insect repellent and a mosquito net.

• Check with prevention tablets at the right dose

• Diagnosis: Immediate medical advice needed.

➡️Oral medication, protecting against mosquito bite and drinking boiled water helps to prevent from the disease.✔️
