He was born in 1918. and died in 2013. South African Black leader. A citizen of the Transkei, he led the Spear of the Nation , the militant wing of the banned African National Council , and was jailed for life in 1694 for sabotage and plotting to overthrow the South African government.

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born in 1918 is an anti-aparthied revolutionary and politican who served as president of South africa from 1994 to 1999 . He was the first black south-african to hold the office and the first elected in a fully representative multiracial election.
