Consumer rights are those rights which are enjoyed by the person buying the goods and services from the market. Following are the rights of consumer:

1) right to safety - consumer have the right to be protected against the marketing of goods and delivery of services that are hazardous to life and property

2) right to be informed - the consumer has the right to know the importance about the product ir services being purchased

3) right to choose - the consumer can choose the product to be bought and also whether not to buy a product

4) right to seek redressal - the consumer has rhe right to seek redressal if the supplier exploited him

5) righ to representation - in case rhere us a dispute between the consumer and rhe seller which isn't settled, the consumer has the right to approach local consumer court tir redressal

6) right to consumer education - the consumer has the right to be informed and given knowledge about the product he is buying
