Darwin had published a book entitled Origin of species.Darwin says that all the organisms reproduce prolifically.All organisms compete with each other in a life threatening manner.

in this competition only those organisms sustains which shows the modification essential for winning the competition..

natural selection also plays important role bcoz nature selects organisms which are fit to live and the rest perish. Darwin theory of natural selection was widely accepted for long duration. some objection were raised against the theory
