a physical quantity is the ratio of dimensionally same physical quantities is known as dimensionless quantities.

For example :- coefficient of friction is the dimensionless quantity. Because it is the ratio of friction force act on body to the normal reaction. e.g., μ = fr/N.
we know, dimension of friction force equals [ML²T⁻²] and dimension of normal reaction also equals [ML²T⁻²].
hence, μ =[ML²T⁻²]/[ML²T⁻²] = dimensionless quantity.

Similarly relative density, electronegativity, coefficient of restitution, refractive index are the example of dimensionless quantities.
