Luminance is quantified using a spectroradiometer, luminance meter or a chroma meter. Illuminance is a term that describes the measurement of the amount of light falling onto (illuminating) and spreading over a given surface area.

Luminous has own light while non luminous has not own light and ex of luminous the sun,the torch and ex of non luminous table ,the moon .
