ANSWER

Birds fly by moving their Wings to overcome drag and produce lift . they climb to altitude so the use of wings which blood at the the breast to fall back for the up stroke and extend for the down stroke , forming a pocket of trapped air it pushes down as you would do a push up on the gym Floor or move your arms forward , then back and down when same in a pool for the crawl stroke . the birds Wings work the same as your arms and do the same stocks only they are much stronger and their body is lighter being constructed of hollow bones and filled with air pockets .

Some major differences are:

  • Birds use their wings to fly, whereas airplanes use engines, cables, wires, and fuel to take off and land.
  • While an airplane's wings have an airfoil shape that only provides lift, a bird's wings provide both lift and thrust.
  • Birds can change the shape of their wings, whereas airplanes can turn and twist but not change the shape of their wings.

One of the most intricate forms of animal locomotion is the flight of birds. Hovering, taking off, and landing are just a few of the intricate movements that go into this kind of motion in each of its aspects. As different bird species evolved over millions of years to suit their needs for particular environments, prey, predators, and other requirements, their wings specialized and they acquired various forms of flight.

There are four forces at work on an aircraft when it is flying straight and level: lift, gravity, thrust, and drag. The opposing forces—lift equals gravity and thrust equals drag—are balanced by one another. The force that propels an airplane forward through the air is called thrust. A jet engine or a propeller both produce thrust.
