RESPIRATION:
1.)It is the process ,by which living organisms produce energy ,the oxygen breaks down complex organic molecules to produce energy.
2.)It is a chemical process(cause it involves breaking down of complex organic molecules into simpler compounds)
3.)Every cell of the body does respiration(oxygen intake )(energy production)
BREATHING:
1.)It is done because of excess build up of carbon dioxide in the body ,by breathing it out (exhaling) and intake of oxygen(inhaling)
2.)it is a physical process
3.)it involves only few organs like gills, lungs, spiracles in different organisms
hope it helps!!
have a nyc day!!!

Points of difference between respiration and breathing:-

Respiration:-

1) Respiration is the process of taking the oxygen from the lungs (into the blood stream or to the cells).

2) It is a chemical process.

3) It is an involuntary and uncontrolled action.

4) It takes place in two stages (Glycolysis and Krebs cycle).

5) It is an intracellular process (because it occurs inside the cells).

Breathing:-

1) Breathing is the process of taking oxygen into the lungs.

2) It is a physical process.

3) It is a voluntary and controlled action.

4) It takes place by inspiration and expiration.

5) It is an extracellular process (because it occurs outside the cells).
