First of all, it is not necessary that each and every transaction will involve rupee, note and coin.

The transaction may be by chaque, or may be by credit.

See meaning of transaction doesn't mean that it will be in cash only rather it means that the transaction must have some money value and that's the reason for your question.

Even bank mode or credit mode of transaction have money value. So, it is not always necessary to have transaction with rupee, note or coin.
