Ram recited the whole incident, which he read from the newspaper that morning, " On Friday night, a man was found injured on the footpath by two girls who were returning from their Judo training. They weren't near him but spotted him from afar, as they were approaching to help him, they noticed something unusual. A manly figure was standing beside the man lying on the ground crying in pain. The girls couldn't understand anything that they were seeing but as the man standing took out a knife out of his pocket, it became clear to the girls that something wrong was going to happen and that they must help the injured man. They called the police for help but knew that till the time police will arrive, it might be too late, so they planned on keeping the man busy there.
As they were nearing the man standing there another man came out of the car parked at a distance with a sort of sack in his hand. The girls kept going towards the two men standing there and tried to show as they were ignorant of the mens' presence. The girls reached close enough to the culprits but they didn't notice them as they were busy worrying about something.
One of the girls after seeking the right moment attacked the man with a knife in his shin and twisted his hand making him lose his grip and the knife fell from his hand.
Till the second man could absorb what was happening the other girl twisted his hand and kicked him from behind bringing him on his knees. But this didn't last long as those two men were strong enough to regain their balance and capture the girls.
But till then the police arrived and the men tried to escape from the place.
Later on, it was found that the injured man was an industrialist attacked by his own driver and house help.
The police have reportedly said in its report that the fleeing driver and his accomplice, the house help, were caught and sent to judicial custody. This all was due to the bravery of the two girls and for this, their name has been suggested for bravery awards."
