The Story Of The Dark
It was 7 o clock in the evening and the professor was out of his office , he was driving his way home when he suddenly remembered that he left some of his important files at the office.
He was not too far from his office, so he decided to go back to the office. There was a rumour spreading around those days. It was said that if a person comes on the Ramleela road after 7 o clock, then the person's life is in danger.
Unfortunately , the professor's office was near to the Ramleela road. He went to his office and took all the files with him. He thought that he is out of danger, but the situation was not so. As he was looking the gate of his office, he heard some voice which seemed to be coming from the backyard of the office.
The voice was of a small child , it was sounding as if the the child was crying. The professor went to the backyard in search of that child. There he saw on a bench , a boy of 7 years was sitting and crying.
Professor was very kind. For a certain time, he forgot about the rumour and started speaking to the child. The Professor questioned him why was he crying. To this the child replied that he doesn't have anyone to play with him.
Professor thought to make the child happy by playing with him. The Professor played with him for almost an hour. Professor asked the child that where are his friends. The child said that he doesn't have any friends, everyday he comes on this road in search of a friend , but people runs away by seeing him , so he kills them .
The Professor remembered about the rumour , he was standing still, when all of a sudden there was complete drakness in front of his eyes.
When he opened his eyes, he found himself sitting on the bench at the backyard of his office, and was happy by knowing that he was alive.
Since that day nobody ever heard or saw anything about the rumour. It was understood by everyone that even the superficial power needs kindness.
