Work done = force * displacement

2 conditions that must be met for the work to be done:

a. the force should act on the body.

b. the body must displace in the direction of force.

2 examples where work is being done:

a. picking up the bag.

b. dragging a toy car.

2 examples where work is not done:

a.pushing a wall.

b.pushing a mountain..

(work is only done when the above two coditions are satisfied )

(in the above two examples where work is not done only one condition is fulfilled ,i.e, implement of force ,but the second condition is not fulfilled,i.e, the object does not displace, hence the work is not done....)
