the absolute value of 12 is -12

the absolute value of -14 is 14

the absolute value of -2-52 = -2+(-52)

-2-52

-54 = 54

the absolute value of 4-5= 4+(-5)

4-5

-1= 1

the absolute value of 5-2

5+(-2)

5-2

3= -3

the absolute value of 0 is 0
