he annexed Jaunpur and Bihar and signed a peace treaty with Bengal. he also introduced many welfare measures . For example, like Ala-ud-din- Khalji, he tried to lower the prices of common essential items. He also gave loans to farmers. He founded the city of Agra and made it his capital.
