Write the adaptations of polar bear to survive in the cold places

1. Polar bear has a white color which matches well with the surroundings. Due to it's white color polar bear isn't easily visible in the snowy white background and hence its prey is unable to see it and it protects it from predators.
2. Polar bear has a thick layer of fat under its skin which insulates the body  and protects it from extreme cold.It has two thick layers of fur on its body.
3. Polar bear has rounded body and small ears to keep the body surface area to a minimum.
4. Polar bear has a big feet to spread the weight of its body on snow to prevent it from sinking and make it walk on snow easily.
Polar bear is a good swimmer which helps it to catch its prey (seal) in water very easily.
5. Polar bear has a very strong sense of smell which helps it to locate and catch its prey.
