1if any substance having hydrogen that is an acid but water contain hydrogen atom . why?By the Lewis definition, anything that can accept a lone pair of electrons (as hydrogen ions will do) can act as an acid. Hydrogen is a common constituent of acids because it is easily captured and stripped by electronegative species, but also easily removed and stabilized in aqueous solutions.
