Atomicity of ozone= O3

Therefore atomicity is 3 (3 oxygen molecules)

Atomicity of sulphur=SO4

Therefore atomicity is 8

because atomicity is defined as no. of atoms in a stable molecule. Like, oxygen molecule is O2 and hence its atomicity is 2. Similarly Sulphur occurs in 2 states being S8 and S6.

Hence its atomicity is 8

hope it helps you! plz mark it as brainliest!!!

Answer:

a)atomicity of ozone is 3

b)atomicity of sulphur is 8

Explanation:

a)Ozone molecule (O3)consists of 3 atoms of oxygen and has an atomicity of 3. Atomicity of a gas is the number of an element present in one molecule of that element.

b)Of Sulphur is 8, because atomicity is defined as number of atoms in a stable molecule . Like oxygen molecule is O2 and hence it's atomicity is 2. Similarly Sulphur occurs in two states being S8 and S6... Hence it's atomicity is 8.
