Microorganisms are both helpful and harmful for us.Most of them are pathogens, i.e. disease causing micro organisms.
So some micro organisms that are helpful
A) in food industry is lactobacillus.
This micro organism helps in converting milk to curd.
B) in medicinal use some ascomycetes of fungi are used to make many anti biotics which help us cure some bacterial diseases.
C) in agricultural use rhizobium, cyanobacteria, nostoc etc help in Nitrogen fixation by converting atmospheric Nitrogen into water soluble forms like nitrates and nitrides which help the plants to absorb atmospheric Nitrogen.
