Frost's famous poem focuses on the idea of choice; there are two roads from which the speaker must choose. Think about choices in terms of your own experience; it's often difficult to determine which path is best.
Here are the final three lines of the poem:
''Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.''
The underlying theme here is that the common path is not always the best path.

the central idea of the poem is to make choices in our lives and that choices are very important for our future. at certain conditions there are alternative at the time of choice but we have to select one of them. if we take wrong decision then in future we will feel repent on his decision. so taking the right decision and making correct decisions is very important for our lives
