HI
The poet warns us not to be victims of evil designs since there is an end of everything. The poet equates fire and ice with desire and hatred, respectively. Both of these are growing at an enormous speed. If we don't check them from growing, the world will perish. We must restrain our desire and love our fellow-beings.
