Answer:

The central idea of the poem 'The Shed' is rationality and fearlessness . The poem teaches us that we should not believe in baseless and imaginative stories about ghosts and other supernatural creatures as these stories are mostly used by people for their own benefit.

Answer: The Shed is a poem which shows the fear and doubt of the poet about a shed at the bottom of his garden. The poet expresses his fear by saying that he feels as if someone stares at him each time he passes that place. He says that his brother scares him by saying that there lives a ghost in the shed who will jump out and chop off his head the moment the poet enters the shed. However, the poet also denies what his brother says. The poet thinks that his brother is lying so that he can keep the shed for himself.
