Ali was an old man. He was a patient man with endless love. he was a retired shikari. Called as coachman Ali by the people of postoffice a place visited by him each day. He waited for his daughter's letter with patience for five whole years. Yes i feel sympathy for him since he died in wait. in wait of his daughter's letter. He died in worry without the assurance of his daughter's safety. He deserved more love care and respect.

The chapter deals with the story of a old young man Ali who went to the post office daily in search for his daughter's letter.

Ali was a brilliant hunter who left hunting after he realized the pain behind separation. He had only one daughter Miriam who went to Punjab after her marriage and Ali was left all alone.

He went to the post office daily in hope of getting a letter from her daughter but unfortunately was never able to get it.

Yeah I feel sympathy for him because at least he should have got his daughter's letter.
