plants having special features for reproduction and produce seeds are phanerogams. In these plants after process of reproduction seeds are formed having stored food and embryo. Phanerogams are classified depending upon their seeds whether enclosed in a fruit or outside.there are 2 types in phanerogams
1)gymnosperms
2)angiosperms
gymnosperms are plants which do not have fruit their stems are without branches. these plants have male and female flowers on different sporophylls.
angiosperms have flowers as reproductive organs.flowers turn to fruits. seeds are inside fruit thus having a natural covering .
