Answer:

hope it helps

Explanation:

a)When silver chloride is exposed to light, it decomposes to form silver metal and chlorine gas. This reaction is used in black and white photography.

b)Manganese dioxide when reacts with hydrochloric acid forms Manganese chloride, water

c)When a zinc rod is dipped in a solution of copper sulphate, zinc, being a more reactive metal than copper, will displace copper from copper sulphate solution. The blue colour of the copper sulphate solution gradually fades due to the formation of the green-coloured zinc sulphate.

d) mixing a solution of barium chloride with sodium sulphate, a white precipitate of barium sulphate is immediately formed. ... The reactants changes into ions when dissolved in water and there is an exchange of ions in solution. This results in the formation of product molecule.

e)When heated, calcium carbonate decomposes into calcium oxide and carbon dioxide.

a) When silver chloride is exposed to light,it decomposes to form silver metal and chlorine gas.

2AgCl(s) {Light & Decomposition} → 2Ag(s)+Cl2 (g)

This reaction is used in black and white photography. It is a decomposition reaction

b) Manganese dioxide when reacts with hydrochloric acid forms Manganese chloride, water and chlorine.

MnO2 + 4HCl → MnCl2 + Cl2 + 2H2O

It is a Redox Reaction.

c) When Zn metal is dipped into cuso4 solution Zn is combined with so4 and cu is displaced, this is a best example of displacement reaction.

Zn+Cuso4=Znso4+Cuso4

d) When sodium sulphate solution reacts with barium chloride solution results in double displacement reaction in which ions are exchanged.

Na2SO4+BaCl2 ⟶2NaCl+BaSO4

In this reaction barium sulphate and sodium chloride are formed, the solution in water consists only sodium chloride because sodium chloride dissolves in water while barium sulphate it settles down and a white precipitate is formed (insoluble).

e) When calcium carbonate is heated it breaks down into calcium oxide and carbon dioxide. This type of reaction is called thermal decomposition.

CaCO3(s)→CaO(s)+CO2(g)

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU :)
