Answer:

1. Na2O + H2O → 2NaOH

Sodium oxide react with water to produce sodium hydroxide.

2. Potassium metal reacts very rapidly with water to form a colourless solution of potassium hydroxide (KOH) and hydrogen gas (H2).

3. 2Al+3H 2 O→Al 2O3+3H2

When steam is passed over aluminium , aluminium reacts with steam to form aluminium oxide and hydrogen gas.

4. If temperature was increased furthermore, calcium carbonate would be decomposed into calcium oxide and carbon dioxide, CaCO3 →CaO+CO2.

5. Na2CO3 (aq) + CaCl2(aq) → CaCO3 (s) + 2 NaCl
