(2a - 5) ^{3} = 8a ^{3} - 125 + 3(2a)(25) - 3(4a ^{2} )5

coefficient of a^2 is (3)(4)(-5)=-60

Answer:

Coefficient is the numerical constant.

Example - 5 in 5x

Coefficient multiplies the variable in an equation.

A constant is a term which is fixed, known to us and cannot be changed.

Example - 3 in 3xyz

A variable is the term whose value is not known to us.

Example - xyz in 3xyz , 15 in 15xy

In this case, we will first solve the equation cuz we don't have a^2 in this equation.

(2a - 5)^3

(a-b)³= a³ - 3a²b + 3ab² -b³

So,

8a^3 - 60a^2 + 150a - 125

Here,

Coefficient of a^2 is -

-60.
