Question :-

write the degree of each of the following polynomials

1) 5x³ + 4x² + 7x

2) 3

3) 4-4y²

4) 5t-√7

=======================================

solution :-

1) The highest power of the x in the polynomial 5x³ + 4x² + 7x is 5x³ . Therefore ³ is the degree of the polynomial of 5x³ + 4x² + 7x.

2) The highest power of the x in the polynomial 3 . Since it is a constant polynomial because there is no any variable. so its degree is 0.

3) The highest power of the x in the polynomial 4-4y² . Therefore ² is the degree of the polynomial of 4- 4y .

4) The highest power of the x in the polynomial 5t -√7. Therefore ¹ is the degree of the polynomial of 5t-√7.

Hope it will help you☺
