His father not like to see that his son is always naming the god. So, one day he call his sister Holika to kill his son. Holika has granted to not die in fire. So, she take Prahalad and sit in fire in order to kill him. But prahald started naming the god Brahma and then Holika die and Brahma save his live. From then to now we celebrate Holika Dahan and then Holi.
