Dear Diary,
This year was really bad for Kerala its people and animals.
Floods of 2018 destroyed many homes and killed many lives.
For few days whole state was at stand still.
Every place was flooded. But many people and army came forward to help us and it was a relief.

15th August 2018,
Thursday.
10:00 pm.
Dear diary,
Since yesterday, the last time I wrote, the situations are worsened. There has been continuous rainfall over a week now. The roads had already submerged in water, all the shops are closed so we could not buy anything from outside. The food that we had in our store is also getting scarce. The authorities has warned as about flood water entering our house by midnight if the rain doesn’t stops. Our district is one of the most affected districts. There were some announcements about leaving our house and going to rescue centres, and we were asked to pack some of our belongings with us. If the rain doesn't stops by midnight we will have to leave our home by tomorrow morning. We would be transported through boats, till we reach the road. I’m just praying for the rains to stop, and for the safety of all the people. Hopefully, I will write to you soon.
