They are same in climate situations like in sahara is hot and remote area followed as ladakh. This two region share the two extremes of weather . The Sahara is desert while ladakh receives heavy downfall and also too cold through out he year . The Sahara is characterized by very hot daytime and very cold nights.

Ladakh is a cold desert lying in the Great Himalayas, on the eastern side of Jammu and Kashmir. The temperature in Ladakh desert may reach – 45-degree Celsius in winter. The Sahara desert is located in the plain areas having small rocky hills and plateaus with slight elevation. The rocks do not have any flora.

there are more chances of cold in Ladakh and it will be freezing and hence hot clothes should be worn. In Sahara, light clothes should be worn to resist the heat.

Sahara

It is the largest low-latitude hot desert in the world. It is the third largest desert after Antarctica and the Arctic. Its area is comparable to the area of the United States or China. It covers a large part of North Africa. It mainly has rocky plateaus. Sand dunes form only a minor part. Many of the sand dunes are more than 180 metres high.

Ladakh

It is a cold desert. It is located in Jammu and Kashmir and extends from the Kunlun mountain range to the main Great Himalayas to the south. It is the highest plateau in the state. It is very sparsely populated. It is known for its mountain beauty and culture. The mountain ranges in this area were formed by the folding of the Indian plate into the more stationary Eurasian Plate. Frequent earthquakes occur in the region.

In some of the lower slopes, there are coniferous forests that yield the willow timber used for making cricket bats.
