Hey there!
Civil law:-
1) Laws pertaining to protection of rights of individuals, land disputes, divorce cases etc are handled.
2) In this type of cases, petitioner file the case in courts.
3) Justice is rewarded in the form money remuneration and as per the petitioner interest i.e., land settlement in the form of land dispute etc.
Criminal law:-
1) Cases like theft, murder, women harassment etc are handled.
2) In this type of law cases are moved from police stations by filing FIR after which police investigation and further proceedings of court continues.
3) Strict punishment is rewarded to the accused if he/she is proven guilty for the crime committed.
