The difference between dicotyledons and monocotyledons are as follows :
1. dicotyledons --- their leaves have reticulate veination.
monocotyledons ---- veination is usually parallel.
2. dicotyledons --- flowers are generally pentamerous or tetramerous
monocotyledons ---- flowers are trimerous.
