Hey Buddy

Both land and sea animals need oxygen to survive, but they go about breathing in different ways. Fish do not breathe directly into their lungs, as land animals do. As they live underwater, they breathe through gill membranes, allowing water to pass through and absorb oxygen in the water.

Terrestrial Animals

Terrestrial animals are animals that live predominantly or entirely on land (e.g., cats, ants, spiders),

Aquatic Animals

Aquatic animals, which live predominantly or entirely in the water (e.g., fish, lobsters, octopuses).

Hope it will benefit you

The difference between land animals and water animals are-

1. As suggested by the name, land animals reside on land, and water animals reside on water.

2. Water animals have a special breathing aperture called gills, and land animals breath through noses.

3. Land animals are also called terrestrial animals and water animals are called aquatic animals.

4. Examples of water animals are fish, crocodiles, sea reptiles, turtles, and others.  Terrestrial animals are lions, tigers, rabbits, dogs, cats, and others.
