in pre colonial way of education only the boys learn in pathsalas and madarsas these institutions were started by guru or moulvi. and in Western education the education was in English language and the British make many buildings and institutions for better education.

Pre-colonial education refers to the type of education before the establishment of colonialism, whereas western education is originated from the west and penetrated to the world after Islamic education. Pre-colonial education it was endless specialization process based on transmission of knowledge, values, skills, wisdom, traditions and experience from one generation to another, whereas the main approach of western education is the modernization of social life through science and technological advancement. Pre-colonial education is considered as conservative approach, whereas western education is termed as liberal approach.
