Write the difference between resistance in series and parallel

girishmehta72: hi
girishmehta72: reistsance in series have differnt potential diffential
girishmehta72: and reisitance in parallel have same potential difference
girishmehta72: net resistance in series is always greater than net resistance in parallel

Easily explained below✌

In series

1) we can not switch on or off separately becoz they are connected in series.

2) the power of volt is not equally divided in the series .

3) examples: used on diwali ladi, etc

In parallel

1) we can switch on or off separately becoz they r connected in parallel.

2) the power of volt is divided equally in parallel.

3) examples : used in domestic purposes,etc.

If u will find it helpfull then mark as brainlist.

Series:-

Net resistance is more

Whole current is through it

R(net)=R (1)+R (2)

Parallel:-

Net resistance is less

Current get divided

1/R (net)=1/R (1)+1/R (2)
