SLIDING FRICTION is that kind of friction that happens when a body slides over another body.

For example: When you push a wooden slab over a concrete floor.

ROLLING FRICTION is the force of friction which comes into play when a body is rolled over another body.

For example: Rolling of a car's wheel over asphalt.

♥ The force resisting the motion of a rolling body on a surface is known as rolling friction .

E.g - Rolling of ball or wheel on the ground .

♥ Sliding friction is the restriction on the body’s movement as only one side of the body is in contact with the surface .

E.g - Pushing a box across the table .
