ASEXUAL REPRODUCTION: It occurs in lower invertebrates and lower chordates and plants with simple organisations

• No fertilization

• It is always uni-parental

SEXUAL REPRODUCTION: it occurs in all types of animals and mostly higher in plants.

• Fertilization takes place.

• It is usually bi-parental
