write the difference between small intestine and nephron
Answers
Similarities among biological systems often attract our attention as they provide us with a swift grasp of connections as we detect something new that is similar to something we already know. Lured by this attraction, we then concentrate our mental powers on this new phenomenon, often only to arrive, as a fruit of our intensive studies, at a recognition of the particular differences and specifics of the biological phenomenon in question. Thus the association of similarities can be likened to the building of bridges — on a horizontal plane — between the known and the as yet unknown. The discerning of differences means digging into a problem — vertically, of course.

Explanation:
Small intestine vs Nephron.
- Small intestine is a long tube that make up major constituent of our digest system. Whereas nephrons are functional unit of kidney and aid in excretion.
- The long tube Small intestine has got finger like projections in them called villi that increase surface area of absorption. Whereas nephrons on the other hand consists of Bowman's capsule and other structures that reabsorb water, proteins and other pure materials from the waste(urine). Basically, nephrons filter the waste once again.
- It is in the small intestine where all the enzyme mix to deform complex molecules of food to simpler ones efficiently. Whereas in nephrons no such enzymes are produced to filter the waste.
