Difference between the two crops : kharif and Rabi crops.

a) Kharif crops - Kharif crops can be described as the crops which are sown with the beginning of the rainy season. It require shorter day length. Examples are rice, maize, cotton, etc.

b) Rabi crops - Rabi crops are the crops that are shown after the end of the monsoon, i.e. during the winter season. It require longer day length. Examples are wheat, peas, gram etc.
