The differences between P-wave and T-wave in the electrocardiogram( ECG) are:
1. P-wave refers to the activation of the SA node, thereby leading to atrial depolarization whereas the T-wave refers to the ventricular relaxation phase.
2. P-wave is of atrial origin( atrial depolarisation) whereas T-wave is of ventricular origin( ventricular repolarisation).
3. T-wave is slightly more asymmetric and lasts longer as compared to that of the P-wave.
