shall and will:-

When forming the future tense u can gat away by using just 'will' and ignoring 'shall'.However if u want to placats some grammer pesants, then u should use 'shall'when the object is/or we.(note:when posing questions using/or we, you should use shall.(eg:Shall we dance?)

If u want to convey that something must happen(typically out of a sense of duty),then u can swap "shall for will"and vise versa. but this nuance is likely to go unnoticed by most of our readers...

would and should:-

1)"Would" is the past tense of "will" while "should"is the past tense of "shall".

2)"would"is used in statements that have costomary actions while "should"is for more required or obligatory actions.

3)"Would" can be used to tone down the meaning and even air some doubt in the message of some statement..

4)"Would"and "should" can sometimes be used interchangeably depending on the contrast of the statement...

Might and could:-

In the grammer book, it says "we also use could for the actions that r not realistic" and "We use might when the situation is not real".So can i use either "could" or "might",i am talking about something which is not realFor eg:does the following sentence have the same meaning. If not, what is the difference????

If they pay me better,i might work harder.

If they pay me better,i could work harder..

quiet and quite:-

Quiet is an adjective meaning "making very little noise " or "having little activity or exitement"......Quite is an adverb which usually means a little or lot,but not completely...(I've been quite busy this evening)

breath and breathe:-

Breathe is an adverb that we use for the process of inhaling and exacling.Breath is a noun tbat refers to a full cycling of breathing. It can also be refered to the air that is inhaled or exacled.

bath and bathe:-

Bathe or bathing is the verb describing immersing oneself in water in some way or the other.Bath is a noun describing the tub that u bathe in.

(Taking a "bath" is the same thing as "bathing" and for some reason it is not taken as bathe..)

welcome and pleasure:-

U r welcome is said to the person helping and its my pleasure is said to the person being helped...

thus and therefore and hence:-

Thus means in this/that way.It relates to HOW....the manner in which this or that happens or comes about.

Therefore means for this reason because of this or that.....it relates to deductive reasoning. It tells WHY this or that is soo or happened...eg:he was late and therefore missed the bus..,etc..

Hence means from this/that it relates to WHERE......position,or point in time,it tells us about where to what, sometimes comes, derives or goes..eg: get thee hence=get yourself away from here...

hope it helps u✌✌✌✌
