  • Vitamin A : Disease : Night blindness

Symptom : difficulty seeing in the dark.

  • Vitamin B1 : Beri-Beri .symptom: Symptoms include loss of appetite, weakness, pain in the limbs, shortness of breath and swollen feet or legs.
  • Vitamin C: Scurvy . Symptom : Bleeding gums .
  • Vitamin D : Rickets . symptom :include delayed growth, bow legs, weakness and pain in the spine, pelvis and legs.
  • Iron : Anemia . symptom : light headache , Fast heartbeat .
  • Iodine : Goiter . symptom : Not all goitres cause symptoms. Symptoms that do occur might include swelling and coughing. Rarely, symptoms may include throat tightness or trouble breathing.
