Write the elements of humour in the prose The Dear Departed

Dear departed is an irony because this whole story revolves around a misconseption. Both the daughters were fighting for their father's valuable things. He appeared to be dead but he actually wasn't. At last grandpa understands that his daughter donot truly love him, but they love his valuable things. The last punch of humour is given we he tell's them that he is going to marry another woman and would give all of his property to her.
