In this poem Lord Ullin doesn't accepts her daughters love.Then, Lord Ullin's daughter planned to run away with her lover and her father's soldiers were chasing them. At a particular situation they had no way other than crossing a river to escape from her father. They get drowned in the river due to a huge thunderstorm and the lovers die.
